Featured Artist: Vera Saiko
Vera is an emerging Canadian artist working with oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor. Having received formal drawing education in Russia and Ukraine, Vera radically changed the direction of her painting inspired by the Group of Seven. Vera fuses vivid colors with Northern minimalism, calibrating the exact relationship of colour to the shape and size of the media.
Vera is a member of the Mississauga Art Society, Visual Arts Mississauga and actively participates in art exhibitions. Her works can be found in private collections in Russia, Ukraine, USA and Canada.
